The Cancer Research Retreat 2026
April 9 and 10th
We are pleased to invite you to the fourth edition of the Erasmus MC Cancer Retreat. The retreat’s consistent aim is to foster interaction and collaboration among cancer researchers at Erasmus MC.
Following three successful editions, each with over 250 participants, we look forward to another engaging event. This year’s program will feature presentations by several leading investigators, offering insights into the wide range of research conducted at the Erasmus MC Cancer Institute. Postdocs and PhD candidates will present their work through short pitches, and parallel sessions will encourage further exchange and discussion.
The retreat will take place aboard the SS Rotterdam, located at 3e Katendrechtsehoofd 25, 3072 AM Rotterdam, from Thursday, April 9th at 08:30 until Friday, April 10th at 15:30. It is possible to spend the night at this venue.

- First year PhD students without abstract: €0
- PhD students with abstract: €0
- Postdoctoral fellows with abstrac: €0
- Other participants: €200
Registration is open!
The deadline for submitting abstracts is Sunday January 11th. Those who will be invited for presenting their abstracts will be informed a few weeks before the Retreat.
Abstracts that may be presented at the Retreat, will be included in the abstract book. The abstract book will be published on this website just before the retreat.
