The aim of the retreat is to stimulate the interaction of cancer researchers at Erasmus MC.

We are happy to announce the third edition of the Erasmus MC Cancer retreat: we’ve had two successful versions, with more than 250 visitors each edition. You are invited to actively join this meeting. Several key leading investigators will present their work in order to give everybody insight in the research topics of the Erasmus MC Cancer Institute. Postdocs and PhDs will give pitches on their research. Furthermore, research pitches in parallel sessions will take place to further stimulate direct interactions. Just like last year, a meeting will be organized by the Future Faculty Program on April the 3th at 17 hours.

The Retreat will be held again on de SS Rotterdam, 3e Katendrechtsehoofd 25, 3072 AM Rotterdam, from Thursday April 3th 8:30 hours till Friday April 4th 16:00 hours. Admission is free for PhDs if they submit an abstract which can be selected for an oral presentation. Others will pay € 150,- attendance fee.

We are interested in the following topics: fundamental, translational, clinical, technology, supportive care, population based and prevention and early detection.

Abstracts should be submitted before February 16^th 2025.

• Must be written in English
• Must not exceed one page (A4 equivalent)
• Must contain: Topic, Title, Names and affiliation(s), Introduction, Methods, Results, Conclusions & discussion
